Patented RE SYSTEM

In 1996 we began to design an energy recovery system which gave birth to the new RE System, where RE stands for Energy Saving, the only system capable of guaranteeing a constant COP, the efficiency of a heat pump, which varies between 2 and 6. What is the innovation of this new RE System? Unlike a traditional heat pump with a gas-powered boiler, the heat pump with the new RE System allows, under certain conditions, for heating or cooling without the aid of external energy sources. Essentially, an independent ecosystem is created inside this machine, capable of self-sustaining and therefore surviving autonomously under certain conditions.

In case these conditions cannot be met, no worries: the new RE System can emit thermal energy even using renewable and eco-sustainable resources:

Air: through an outside air unit that conveys the external heat inside and vice versa.
Solar Energy: through the installation of a photovoltaic system.
Geothermal Energy: thanks to a geothermal probe exchanger that transfers heat to and from the earth with central heating and air conditioning.
Water: systems with a heat pump that use above or underground water to generate heat and/or cool down.

The four forces can even be combined together to maximize energy efficiency indicators, depending on where this innovative system will be installed.

CAUTION though, should one or more of these forces not function properly, the RE System will still be able to operate independently, unlike traditional heat pumps that would stop.

AOSTA PLANT

In 2019, a prototype of a heat pump with a Re-System was created in Aosta, more precisely in Chatillon, replacing an oil boiler inside two buildings composed of 24 apartments, and equipped with a system characterized by radiators installed in the 1950s. Currently working, even in harsh external temperature conditions, maintaining constant internal temperatures from a minimum of 21°C to a maximum of 23°C (PLEASE NOTE: since the boiler was removed, the internal temperatures have proven to be more appropriate, with no thermal swings).
